Hey guys, if this doesn’t work on your phone. Just download the PS1 iso and play it on Duckstation emulator. This way you can upscaled it to even higher resolution. No need to worry about license or anything. This remastered version of ff 8 only upgrade the characters seemingly has been taken from other ff games like dissidia. So it’s not so worth it. Since square Enix themself has lost it’s master original assets for the game.

Need help please. Was using the apk+obb installer and was not pushing through. It seems that the obb files (patch and main) had diff file names. Main has 2107190 and patch is 2103090.

no you do not have to change anything. uploaded files are working just fine. Install it properly

pasted it on my android obb folder after installation.
I’m using s21 ultra so don’t tell me its not compatible with my device.

Very bad the apk does not have support for the Armeabi or Armv7-a architecture and it does not install 2 hours downloading to bring me a great disappointment

i think the OBB file name is not correct. game doesn’t start and forcely closed. “com.square_enix.android_googleplay.FFVIII” is it?

why didnt work? i put the folder on the obb with the patch. when i open the app it keeps coming back to home screen.
Game will force close only when it does not find obb file. so please place data folder properly
Hi RG, I have the game obb file and folder in the right location (android/obb) but it still FC…
Check App Size from the MANAGE APPS. it must show full game size
Put the obb in the right folder, checked the app config and it says 2.7gb, and still force closing. What to do? :(

its working fine. try it. Google Drive has some limitations so whenever so many users are downloading the same files it shows some errors. but after a while you can try downloading it with the same link. it will work
It didn’t work for me in too, but I changed the name of the obb files. I deleted everything before ‘main’ and ‘patch’ (so basicly the folder name that was before it) and then it worked
